A problem I am having with my 2017 Chevy volt. It fails to go into ready mode when starting.For those of you looking for a solution, turned out to be the BEC...All these factors can contribute to the problem. While a shop could check Amp draw during cranking. Starter disassembly will be required. Tinker with it yourself or find a shop that can do rebuild. A lot of times when a battery gets old it will start up once and if you don't let the alternator run long enough to charge it back up it won't start the second time. Cannot move steering wheel. Radio works fine, even the AC fan is blowing.
