Simplisafe base station not connecting to wifi
Has anyone else had trouble connecting to o the WiFi? I’m setting up my system fresh out the box, and I download the app. Plug the base station in and get it connected to Bluetooth on my phone. Then when I go to connect to the WiFi it just buffers on the app until telling me it failed and I need to retry.I agree, the next step is to troubleshoot your router in case a security or other setting is preventing the connection from going through. Steelick and Dave001w offer some great advice already, but another thing I can suggest is to set up a guest WiFi network on just the 2.4GHz bands. The Base Station might have an easier time connecting to that.The voice prompt "wireless interference detected" refers to a wireless signal in your home that is interfering with a sensor(s) and your Base Station. Wireless interference can come from, wireless routers, kitchen appliances, smart TVs, radios, cell phones. In your post, you mention that your router is about 3-4 feet away from your Base Station.
