The strategy I've been using is farming the first 2 floors of Sylvia Drake's tomb since the monsters on those floors (Crying Spirit and Necrotic Haunter) both drop ectoplasm, but it's frustrating to have to restart the dungeon every time.

IMO polygons really aren’t worth your time during double reagents since each spawn usually drops 2 or 3 without double reagents and you only need 20 of them for Novus and raid gear. The best place for me to get sandstone is in floating mountains, Azteca. The area that gets spawns of sandstone is near the recipe vendor in Isla del Fuego.
