With a new Purge Solenoid, I'll assume it isn't leaking. The 71 can sometimes be cured by a fluid change but usually means replacing the Valve Body.Insert the key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to "OFF." Remove the key from the ignition. Insert the key into a door or the trunk. Turn the key counterclockwise. The security system SHOULD reset as the door or trunk is unlocked with the key.
