If he doesn't land those 2 abilities, not only does he lose a lot of damage, he is also unable to effectively proc his passive. Early game is simply windwalling his w and taking short trades where he can't proc his passive and electrocute.Yasuo is very comp dependant especially this season, even if you are fed af, you can get one shoted easily. So see your opponents, your own team, and then pick Yasuo if its ok. Yone is way easier to play because of his E. He is playable nearly of all the mid match-ups. I generally prefer Yone if i have to FP. A good trick is to get her to shove into you (sacrifice hp and passive as needed), then look for all-in or a heavy trade once there is an incoming wave, probably around tier 1 tower. She'll use E, but then the incoming wave will arrive, which you can use E to ladder off of. Yeah Yasuo is weak in higher elos Plat+ He is very good gold below because people like to constantly fight and skill check even if you are 1 item or 2 ahead. Yasuo felt much stronger pre mythics, now that mythics are big spike, adc getting spikes earlier, its hard for Yasuo to snowball. Level 2, you can take small trades, E, Q him E back, on level 3 is where gameplay for you comes in, so akshan needs to damage you 3 times whether it's autos Q or E, as E is his most damage comes from E. Your powerspike is always having both E and Q, as you will have all your heavy damage tools already.
