I have had to take the plug off and clean the connector twice now on my turbo S. It’s on the master cylinder if it turns out to be your problem. I'll second the brake switch/sensor. You may need to replace. Try pumping the brake pretty hard a few times, then push the brake down pretty hard and start.The fuel pump should only cycle for about 3-5 seconds to build initial pressure and then shut off until it sees a signal from the cam/crank position sensor.
