Ryujinx saves to yuzu
Hi, first time emulating and I tried Ryujinx first but want to switch to Yuzu because this game is locked to 30 on Ryujinx and is 60 on Yuzu. I tried opening both directories and copying the files around, but the save file structure is completely different in Yuzu's and Ryujinx's folder. I've transfered most of my saves from my switch to Ryujinx successfully but currently smt3 nocturne runs badly on any emulator. I decided to get the PC version instead, and I would like to know if there's a way to transfer my Ryujinx Save data into the PC version. I've looked into save file editing, but I'm afraid I'll lose my monster compendium …

Each game has a unique code which the folder is named as. This means that the directory to a save file will be the same on any computer. Not so with Ryujinx. Instead, each save folder is labeled (bunch of zeroes)1, (bunch of zeroes)2, (bunch of zeroes)3 and so on. Yuzu feels like it is built with accuracy first, then performance while Ryujinx is built with a performance and "good enough + patch it to be better" approach. (though this is my thoughts from a few months ago, could very well have changed) Just followed these steps and it definitely works. I tried the Golf Adventure mode in Yuzu and it just auto-crashes. I made a Mii a while back in Ryujinx, so I found the save file by right-clicking on the game and going to the save directory (similar on Yuzu) and backed up the save(s), copied and pasted from Ryujinx into Yuzu and now in Yuzu it plays perfectly.

Right click the game in yuzu's list, select Open save data location, unpack the contents of the 7z there, not the actual 7z file, and not on a new folder.Choose a profile like "steam deck" for the controller profile in yuzu and save it, and make sure the game loads that controller profile every time it boots yuzu. Then game mode will remember the choice.
