I took it apart and lo and behold these pools of urine collecting inside these large gaps inside the globe. I looked around and there is actually a sizable gap between the gray globe and the black ring. Yup, the unit where I just replaced the DFI and pinch kit did this about 1 day after replacement and won't even cycle now.
