Case transferred to NBC. Hi all , today morning I received an update that my i 485 has been transferred from Nebraska to NBC and they are mailing out a notice of transfer . Already received GC EAD and waiting for AP document, my PD is Jan 2013. Now in the evening I saw the news that they have retrogressed EB 2 India to April 2012 .Interviewed I-485 Cases Normally Transferred to NBC or TSC. After the I-485 interview is concluded without issues and if the priority date of the primary applicant is not current, USCIS will hold the case in abeyance until the priority date becomes current and an immigrant visa becomes available.I-485 Case was transferred and a new office has jurisdiction. I-140 & I-485 (AOS) I got my I-797C notice in the mail saying “In order to speed up the process we transferred your case” it got transferred to NBC from Nebraska Service Center. I was filed under EB3 employment-based GC. I-140 and I-485 concurrently filed last April 2021.

Employment based case? If so, likely means your petition is good and transfer is for other items on the 485. The only connection I see is that I-485 is being sent to the same USCIS service center which has my I-140 under processing. I don't know on what basis my attorney sent my I-485/I-765/I-131 to National Benefit Center in Missouri.
